A Pattern of Men by KatieKurama A Pattern of Men by KatieKurama
Please full view!!

Another project for my 2D class! We had to create some kind of collage using at least one pattern (in this case, a stamp with a pattern on it that I carved onto it in class) and black, white, and grey. Luckily, I stumbled across some silver ink for the stamping, cut out all the shapes on either black or white cardstock paper and compiled them together on a black mat board. It sort of just made itself as I went along. I really wanted this collage to be as minimalistic as possible, and incorporate some of the image into the mat border, because I think it makes it very interesting compositionally. I do like it!

Wow! I really like this!!! I always like it when people are drawn from that kind of downward angle. It looks so classy.

I love that angle, too, that's why I wanted to try it out! I'm glad you like it, thanks!

Nice work!
To be honest I thought it looked like Light yagami the first time I saw it (and the butterflies like apples) ^_^ Awesome!
